Build Your Own Business Website in Two Days
Two-day pilot course · 14–15 December 2026 · Just 6 places · £150 per person
Bring your laptop and your business ideas, and learn how to build and manage a simple business website with step-by-step support. Suitable for beginners; no coding experience required.
What we'll cover
Day 1: Plan your website, organise your pages, write your business content and build a mobile-friendly site.
Day 2: Connect your domain and hosting, set up business email, test your contact form, cover basic search engine optimisation and learn how to update your site yourself.
The workshop covers straightforward business websites, including adding a simple Shopify shop or buy buttons to your website. Complex business systems, bespoke apps and advanced integrations are outside the scope of this two-day pilot. If your business needs more involved functionality, contact us before booking so we can check what is achievable.
Course fee and additional costs
The £150 booking pays for two days of tuition only. Software subscriptions, your domain name, business email and any paid hosting are additional and paid directly by you to the suppliers. You will own and manage those accounts.
As an initial planning guide, allow approximately £150–£170 extra for software and website setup, making approximately £300–£320 including the course. This is a provisional allowance, not a fixed quote or a cap. The final amount depends on the required software plan, current supplier prices, taxes and your chosen domain and email service. Please confirm the current supplier costs with us before booking.
The building software may only be needed for one month. You can cancel its renewal when your site is complete; a simple exported website hosted separately does not need that subscription to stay online. Further building or editing with the same paid tools may require another subscription.
Free hosting may be suitable within the provider's usage limits. Paid hosting or upgrades cost extra if needed. Domain names and business email have ongoing renewal charges; some services are billed annually.
If you choose to sell through Shopify, its subscription and applicable payment or transaction fees are additional ongoing costs paid directly to the provider and are not included in the setup allowance above.
