Thursday Skills Club — £30 per session

From January 2027: the first Thursday of every month, 6pm–9pm. A relaxed, hands-on evening for beginners, homeowners, landlords and past students who want to practise practical plumbing skills.

Eight places per night. £30 per person. Each date is booked separately. Choose your date below for live availability.

Practise on the real training rigs with guidance from Mike. Topics can include copper soldering, taps, radiators, toilets, leaks, compression and push-fit fittings, wastes and bathroom connections. Bring your jobs and questions; contact Mike if there is a particular skill you want to work on.

Tools and materials are included. Training takes place at The Plumbing School, Deeside Enterprise Centre, Rowleys Drive, Shotton, CH5 1PP. No previous plumbing experience is required.
